I just wanted to add my voice to the admiration and encouragement for your next steps, it’s a fantastic idea and I eagerly look forward to seeing what emerges, you are such a positive, informative and supportive resource for women with breast cancer, if ever you feel that your voice is being minimised by those with narrower narratives than yours (medical modal etc) just remember the community of women and medical professionals who do believe in your vast expertise and passion…..you deserve an OBE for all that you have achieved and continue to offer

Our sessions have had a massive impact on me. I fast almost everyday and I sit in my garden every morning come rain or shine and drink my black coffee, which in turn means I now have a daily bowel movement without fail, which In turn makes me so happy! It’s a great start to the day and has such an impact on my mental state. Plus I sleep much better now I get morning daylight
I’m rambling but the info and advice you’ve given me, along with the supplements you’ve recommended have really made a difference to how much better I feel. Thanks so much for getting me to a stage where I don’t think about cancer all the time and I feel empowered that I can keep myself well.
All the best to you and your family. May you have wonderful adventures!

I am a survivor of 7.5 years and counting. Although I have only had my starter three sessions with you, I found the sessions very helpful and informative and felt that you were extremely knowledgable; the texts you suggested I have done were very interesting and I have acted upon the information ( as far as I practically can!) and am on my regime of supplements. I strongly believe that they have alleviated my neuropathy symptoms and for that, I’m very grateful. The only issue that I have now is dealing with my own anxiety when I err from your advice as I am not a happy rule breaker!

A big thank you for the reassurance, help and support you gave through a very fearful time. I feel you have given me the tools to do the best i can for myself so i carry that out now without thinking and am just trying to get on with life!!
Your vision for Power through Breast Cancer (webinars/online courses/roadshow etc) sounds amazing and is so in need. Last week I started to attend a ‘Breast Cancer Now’ moving forward course and am considering becoming a volunteer next year with a view to helping facilitate etc. As you can imagine, although I think they’re fantastic there’s a lot that doesn’t sit completely comfortably with me regarding the information/advice and we haven’t even covered nutrition yet! I did think a lot about you and how your approach would be so much more useful.

You do amazing work with women if my own recent experience of you is anything to go by, and I can’t imagine the toll that it takes. In addition to being exposed to women’s stories and experiences each week, I can imagine that it requires the hugest of huge amounts of resilience to deal with ‘the industry’.
Just from my own much less-informed perspective, I see the power that big pharma has over the whole oncology system including doctors, other consultants and practitioners, and also the media in shaping a narrative around conventional medicine. That narrative can drown out other voices who speak sense based on different types of solid research (whatever that is really) and so stop the wonderful life-saving treatments and practices beyond the conventional.
I am sensing an excitement about what is going to emerge through your work. I can almost feel the rumblings of power to shake up conventional thinking and make space for a richer narrative and much more choice. And ways to connect women together in how they learn from and live with breast cancer. My sense is that this whole field is on the verge of a breakthrough and personally, I’m excited about what you’re going to do as part of that. I will be watching and supporting from the sidelines. I’m going to keep connected to your community.

I am a testament of your fantastic work (everyone keeps telling me how fantastic I look despite the onslaught of chemo etc) and even the Marsden were extremely impressed with your last recommendations as they were thoroughly thought through. You are a fantastic nutritionist and do not forget that. You have provided me with that control which is so needed when everything gets out of control. I cannot lose that belief which you have given me as hope and strength is 80% of the fight.

I am now officially in remission and supposed to be ‘cancer free’. I am awaiting an operation to remove my ovaries – the cancer engines I’m told and still have 12 months of targeted treatment continuing. All of this seemed impossible 21 weeks ago and I can’t thank you enough for giving me advice that clearly made it possible for me to cope with the very heavy intensive medical treatment. I couldn’t have prepared my body better to take the medication without your advice.

The plethora of books and advice out there is confusing to say the least. Your ability to distil the latest research and give sensible practical advice on how to make changes to our diets I personally find invaluable.

Thank you for reigniting my fighting spirit, it was what I wanted out of yesterday. I’m holding my head higher today.
