The support you need

There are lots of excellent practitioners who will be happy to support you through your breast cancer experience. You can explore various options via Yes to Life. Meanwhile I am happy to recommend to two practitioners below who I have been working with over the last few months as part of a mentoring group.

Emma Marshall

Emma is a registered Nutritional Therapist, Functional Medicine Practitioner and experienced chef who specialises in working with breast cancer patients.

Constantly learning through formal education and research, Emma combines her evidence-based nutrition knowledge with over 25 years of cooking experience both in professional and domestic environments.  This enables her to take the science of nutrition and the healing it can bring and make it accessible for her clients through her recipes and menu plans.

Her focus is on nutrition, working with you to provide a personalised and supportive approach to identify and reduce your risks and optimise your overall outcome. She regularly uses functional testing and is experienced and has trained with genetics, stool testing, blood tests and hormone testing.

Emma started her career as a Chef in London and then ran her own catering business and cookery workshops for 20 years before qualifying as a Nutritional Therapist at The College of Naturopathic Medicine in London in 2018. She completed the Functional Medicine Practitioner training shortly afterwards.

She obtained the NTEC accredited professional training in Nutrition and Cancer in 2018 from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London.

At present Emma is furthering her studies at The Oncology Nutrition Institute in the USA run by Jess Kelly and Dr Nasha Winters where she is nearing completion of the Oncology Nutrition Consulting (ONC)™ certification programme. This evidence-based education certification and training programme is at the forefront of the emerging field of oncology nutrition and educates on the therapeutic potential of food, therapeutic diets, micronutrients and phytonutrients and nutrigenetics in the oncology setting.

In parallel, she has recently completed studying under Dr Nina Fuller Shavel on her 6-month educational programme and the Peat Institute for Cancer Knowledge, to help nutrition professionals work confidently with clients who have a cancer diagnosis.

Emma has been a helpline volunteer since 2018 with Yes To Life, the UK’s Integrative Cancer Care Charity. Find out more by visiting her website at https://emmamarshallnutrition.com

Lillian Klein

Lillian is an experienced Nutritional Therapist who specialises in breast cancer. She has a first class degree in Nutritional Science and postgraduate training in Nutritional Therapy. She is registered with the British Society of Integrative Oncology and has trained in Functional and Integrative Approaches to Cancer and also completed the Penny Brohn Whole Body Approach to Cancer.

She was the lead nutritionist for Nuffield Health for 6 years, running programs to support women’s health.  She is also a medical supporter of the Yes to Life Integrative Cancer Care Charity, where you can you hear her speaking on Health UK radio station.

She is the Nutritional Therapist for Victoria’s Promise, a cancer charity that supports young women with cancer,   where she provides educational nutrition talks, webinars and one to one consultations.

Nutrition and cancer is an ever evolving science and because of this, she is always learning. Having recently completed a 6 month cancer training program, I am following this up with a further advanced level program. I regularly attend conferences and read extensively.

I love what I do, there is no greater job satisfaction than empowering the women I work with to take control of their health. My aim is to transform your health and wellbeing by providing an integrative model of breast cancer care where, alongside your medical team,  you have all the tools to do everything you can to beat breast cancer.

I work with you to improve your outcomes, enhance your recovery and reduce your future risk. If you would like to have a complimentary call with me to discuss how I can help you, please visit www.entirehealth.co.uk
