Many clients suspect that something in their diet doesn’t agree with them. It’s true that some foods are more likely than others to contribute to overweight, hormone imbalances, painful symptoms and digestive problems. But it can be difficult to work out which one.
Years of clinical experience has taught me that the food you are most reluctant to give up is the most likely culprit. It’s also likely to be over-represented in your fridge and store cupboards.
In all my years as a nutritionist I’ve never known anyone addicted to sardines or spinach, but clients always have a fight on their hands when it comes to giving up sugar, wheat or dairy.
Which one might be your nemesis? Are you ready to see if you can feel better without it? You don’t have to give it up for life. Just try living without it for two weeks and see how you feel.
Some people feel so much better that they don’t want to go back again.
